ABOUT

Utilising multimodal neuroimaging data, Naji’s work aims to investigate the spatiotemporal dynamics of brain networks across a range of altered states of consciousness from pathological (i.e., disorders of consciousness) to pharmacological (e.g., anaesthesia). He is interested in studying psychedelics as tools to improve our understanding of the landscape of altered states of consciousness. To this end, his project aims to utilise whole brain modelling to explore the potential of psychedelics as treatments for disorders of consciousness.
