ABOUT
As a PhD student, Fatemeh is interested in investigating the efficacy and the underlying neural mechanisms of novel neuromodulatory and pharmacological therapeutic techniques in post-comatose patients with disorders of consciousness. In her project, she also explores treatment responsiveness biomarkers between different altered states of consciousness (Unresponsive Wakefulness Syndrome/Vegetative State and Minimally Conscious State) using clinical, neuroimaging, and neurophysiological assessment techniques.
