ABOUT
As a psychologist and a PhD student, Simona’s work aims to investigate the physiological and behavioural responses of post-comatose patients with Disorders of Consciousness following specific sensory stimulations, such as tickling and pleasant touch. Her interest is to implement new stimulation techniques in the rehabilitation management of patients that can accompany and help them in the process of recovering consciousness.
